Do you have an asylum residence permit and are you still living in a reception location of the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA)? Then you are obliged to report there, just as you did during your asylum procedure. Do you not do this? Then you could lose your place in a reception centre and weekly allowance. You will not get this back afterwards.

Do you have an asylum residence permit and do not want to live in the municipality assigned to you? Then it depends on your situation whether this is possible. Often it is not possible, but in some situations you can still change municipality.

During the asylum procedure, you may encounter discrimination, intimidation or violence. For example, by other asylum seekers in the reception centre where you live. This is not allowed under Dutch law. And this behaviour is punishable. There are organisations that can help you.
